Prior to founding iDefend, LLC, Mark earned an exceptional reputation among fellow officers and the citizens he served throughout his twenty-three years in law enforcement. He has repeatedly received high praise and countless honors for his depth of insight into advanced strategic, tactical and technological security solutions, and holds numerous instructor certifications including active shooter training for business and schools, enhanced firearms training, and other security-related disciplines. With an extensive private security and executive protection background, Blake joined iDefend as COO after serving more than three years as General Manager for the global security provider for one of the largest automobile manufacturing facilities in the nation. With a deep operational understanding of every level of security strategy - Blake is uniquely qualified to lead iDefend’s operations - from fundamental patrol efforts, to high-level Special Operations and SOC initiatives. His expertise includes, critical response, risk/threat assessment and analysis, development of security contract compliance and performance metrics, and advanced security personnel development.
